Michael Yip is an Associate Real Estate Transactions Attorney at Liston & Tsantilis, P.C. He is originally from Toronto, Canada and attended Queen's University in Kingston, Canada, where he received his degree in Economics, with honors.

Michael began working for the City of Toronto and Elections Ontario, where he focused on election implementation and compliance with overarching legislation, more specifically making the election process accessible for disabled voters.

In 2017, Michael graduated from DePaul University College of Law and received his Juris Doctorate degree with a certificate in Business Law. While in law school, he was a member of the DePaul National Trial Team and volunteered with various Judges in the Mortgage Foreclosure Section of the Chancery Division in the Circuit Court of Cook County. 

Michael was admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois in November 2017. Before joining Liston & Tsantilis, P.C., Michael focused his practice on civil litigation, tax deed proceedings, foreclosures, building code violations and lien enforcement.
