Jamal is an Associate Attorney at Liston & Tsantilis, P.C., concentrating on property tax appeals and transactional tax-related matters. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois and is an active member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Chicago Bar Association.

Before joining the firm, Jamal gained valuable experience as a Tax Associate at a leading U.S. tax firm, where he worked on tax preparation and analysis for a wide range of corporate and partnership tax matters.

Jamal earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2023, graduating with certificates in both Taxation and Transactional Law. While in law school, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Regulatory Compliance, worked as a Federal Tax Clinician assisting clients with personal tax obligations, and clerked for a Chicago-area law firm handling business and litigation matters.



He received his undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University, graduating with high honors in Finance and a minor in Business Law.
